Vani AI is an AI-powered educational assistant accessible through WhatsApp. Students send a text message, voice note, or photo of a question — and Vani responds with a step-by-step explanation in seconds, in the student's own language.
Vani (வாணி / वाणी) is the Sanskrit and Tamil word for voice, speech, and the goddess of learning. The name reflects our belief that learning begins with a question — and every student deserves an immediate, intelligent answer.
Beyond doubt-solving, Vani generates AI-curated MCQ practice sessions, full-length mock exams (NTA-pattern for JEE, NMC-pattern for NEET, UPSC-pattern for Civil Services), and tracks each student's progress and weak areas over time.
Vani works on any Android or iOS phone without downloading any app. The platform is also accessible through the web portal at kondaacademy.com for students who prefer a browser experience with mock exams and progress dashboards.

Vani AI was founded by Konda Academy, an EdTech company based in Tamil Nadu, India. The idea was born from a simple observation: in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities across India, a student waiting for a tutor can wait hours — sometimes days. Private tutors charge ₹500–2,000 per hour, and quality coaching institutes are concentrated in metro cities.
At the same time, 500 million Indians already use WhatsApp every day. 80% of Indian students study primarily in their mother tongue, not English. 60% own low-end Android phones that cannot run heavy educational apps.
